Pointer training – 4th May 2008

My brother and his family were up for the weekend.  A good weekend with dog training taking the form of pretty relaxing walks by the river instead of solid training sessions.  On Saturday we went to mid Wales to a labrador breeder in order to see the parents of a pup my brother will pick up in August.  Lovely parents so the pup should be great…puts me in mind of my next dog…a thought best put off until I have the kennel built I suppose!

Grace was pretty good.  A bit wound up with all the children about, but pretty reasonable.  My brother even videoed her dropping to the whistle and ‘getting on’ with a finger click.  I may even work out how to upload it one day.
