An introduction

Well, I considered starting this diary when I had my inevitable ‘next dog’, but on account of the fact that my Pointer is still only just two years old and that anyone watching us out in the field might consider us both untrained, thought it a worthwhile exercise if for nothing more than to preserve my sanity.  I will inevitably have to step back in time before recounting the present, or considering the future.  Please bear with me.
